And the Ozrics formed in '83 and didn't have much but demos and EPs until the beginning of the 90s. (Erpsongs is still great) They released 10+ excellent albums from the 90s on. Love em all. Came to them a bit separately. Ozrics first. Heard their massive discography so many times it's as if I made up for all the years of my life I hadn't known of them. (They're third place overall on my last.fm with 2900 something plays) Van der Graaf soon after, but through King Crimson and etc. And I got into Gentle Giant most recently. Some time earlier this year I started to really get it and love it. Very different bands, as well. Gentle Giant is the middle ground between VdGG and Ozrics. Edit: *stoner realizes after post almost for the first time that his avatar is an Ozrics cover and wants to mention it* |
