Since the last lastfm software update, I haven't been able to scrobble my ipod. I've given up.

I just uninstalled the Last.fm scrobbler and installed it again and it started to work ok. The only problem is whenever you open up itunes you get a message from the Last.fm thing saying 'preparing for ipod scrobbling' or something like that. Give it a minute it then says 'last.fm is ready for ipod scrobbling', you can go ahead and sync your ipod then and the list of plays should appear shortly after.

i have the exact same problem...plus i have to "open" last.fm on my computer go to help, diagnostics and tell it that i manually manage my iPod...then it goes through each track

This is what I've had to do for about a year. So tedious.

I can't even get it to do that :(

I'll try a reinstall. I've timed my ipod sync just right a couple times, but then it only scrobbles a few tracks. I can't get too upset...the ipod is notoriously ****ed when it comes to how its software works.

I never scrobble my iPod.
