I haven't heard Exuma, but I'll take James suggestion. As for Fursaxa, I only listened to two of her albums so far, Alone in the Dark Wood and Kobold Moon. I can say for certain that Alone in the Dark Wood is great. The other one I heard only once or twice, I have yet to give it my full attention.

I would hardly call Exuma freak-folk. He's energetic, but his music is still very uni-rhythmic and grounded. Exuma is still a masterpiece, though.

You should hear her latest 2010 effort. So far, it's my favorite of the year, very adventurous and dense.

Well that's the genre I usually see it tagged as and he's one of my favourite artists so recommending him to anyone is good.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Alone in the Dark Wood is a great album. I also recommend giving Fursaxa a listen, James.
