The Last.FM client has always been a little hit and miss but on my old PC had probably scrobbled 90% of the plays from my iPod and 100% of my plays from my PC. On my new PC it is still scrobbling from music on hard drive but hasn't scrobbled a thing from my iPod yet.
Best, most reliable iPod scrobblers anyone? Im using Vista. Edit: I manually manage my ipod and given my last PC died and i have a shiny new laptop my ipod library differs from my itunes library. In essence the albums on my iPod are not on the hard drive of the laptop i am using and connecting my iPod to. I have considered that this is why it isnt scrobbling my ipod plays. However on my old PC it WAS scrobbling plays from albums on my iPod that werent in my iTunes library at the time either (due to one or two hard drive fails and the eventual wiping of my iTunes library). Could it just be that it was scrobbling these plays because the music WAS on the hard drive, even though it wasnt added to my iTunes? Last edited by Mojo; 01-28-2010 at 08:50 AM. |
