With Mac there's something called "Drag a picture" ... So I like crop the page. But with windows there's always Prnt Scrn.

with vista i think you can crop the area you want to take a screeny of. im not entirely sure though.

Look in your accessories folder and see if you have a snipping tool. If not you can probably download one off the net.
