I listen to 40 More Reasons to Hate Us for the second time since I've had it then deleted it. They're amusing but I can't see myself going out of my way to listen to them. Of course many of the songs were too short to scrobble.

2 The Unicorns 18
Listened to mostly random songs and one bootleg from the Jupiter Room. Still probably my favorite band.

3 Pixies 17
Surfer Rosa and some other songs. Some really good songs but I think it has too much filler to be considered such a classic album.

4 Duchess Says 16
Anthologie Des 3 Perchoirs and Noviçiat Mère-Perruche-Budgie Laboratories.

5 Dub Trio 15
Another Sound Is Dying. Too much Tool-esque rock for me and not enough dub.

6 Elvis Costello 14
Mostly just a mix of songs. Based on them I think I finally need to check out My Aim is True.

6 Selda 14
Rocked out to her s/t. Apparently a lot of it annoys others.

8 The Durutti Column 13
Listened to Vini Reilly.

8 Chad VanGaalen 13
Soft Airplane. I love it.

8 Dungeon Elite [**] 13
So catchy.

11 Jefferson Airplane 12
After Bathing At Baxter's. Good album. I really enjoy Jack Casady's playing.

11 Cutting Pink With Knives 12
Can't remember what but I downloaded a few more albums last week.

13 Circa Survive 11
Listened to Juturna. A good time but not overly memorable for the first listen.

13 Sun Kil Moon 11
A bit of Ghosts of the Great Highway and Tiny Cities.

13 The Greenhornes 11
Jack Lawrence has become my favorite bass player as of lately so I thought I'd check out another of his bands. I really dig this bluesy garage rock.

16 Yeah Yeah Yeahs 10
It's Blitz.

16 Saosin 10
Only Anthony Green stuff.

16 Kaki King 10
Saw a live performance at my drummer's house and thought I'd download a full album.

I think so too. That is a fine album to start off with.

I hear this a lot, but I really like the new stuff. I'm not saying I prefer one over the other (I'm not too familiar with the old stuff) but I'm just saying. Their new material gets a lot of enjoyment out of me.

"Collapse" while playing Burnout: Paradise = Uplifting

But no worries, this reminded me to download "Translating The Name".

Is there a newer album you'd recommend by them? I'm not exclusive to the old stuff I've just never bothered checking out much more.

Their self-titled full length, but I'm not saying you'll like it. The lyrics are noticeably weaker and there's no screaming, but I think that it's really engaging music.

That's how I feel about Doolittle. I find Surfer Rosa much more consistent.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
