But its still his favourite band, more or less.
Anyway, heres mines: Top last fm artists last 7 days: Paul Weller 150 Clutch 110 Bjorn Berge 80 John Lee Hooker 69 Chris Rea 44 Cast 35 Travis 28 Nick Lowe 23 Robert Johnson 17 Art Official 14 Miles Davis 14 Absu 13 ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead 13 Antonio Fernandez (Music Banter version) 12 Steve Miller Band 12 Etta James 12 Roxy Music 11 Michael Brecker 9 10,000 Maniacs 9 B.B King 7 Explanation: Went on a full day long Paul Weller binge, talking like 16 hours or so. Pulp are good though I enjoy it for Jarvis then the rest of the band, his solo albums are great too, better than some Pulp albums. Plus I've always loved the way he dresses. But as a band Blur pisses all over Pulp. Anyway the Ive been listening to Blur alot because I need some great pop music to keep my spirits up from the awfulness of summer school, and what better band then the best pop band of the 90's, Blur?

They are alright, Im just not a big fan. But I do love Think Tank, Gorillaz & Good Bad & Queen. And to differentiate from you even further, I'd rate Pulp as a better band than Blur, lyrical quality in Pulp is excellent as with Blur, lacklustre. Anyway listen to what you want, if you enjoy Blur, then its cool. EDIT: Notice my Last Fm list? You provoked this! |
