1 MGMT 46
My friends and I are kind of late on Oracular Spectacular so there's been a recent obsession with them. 2 Grizzly Bear 36 Mostly from the new album Veckatimest. But I'm really starting to get into this band and I actually think I like the older stuff better. 3 Frédéric Chopin 30 Etudes and preludes. I've been playing them and listening to them alot recently. Pollini's recording of the etudes and Rubinstein's preuldes. 4 Johann Sebastian Bach 21 Recently picked up a recording of the Sonatas for Violin and Keyboard, really soothing music. 5 Animal Collective 15 I am slowly starting to like them more and more and their plays keep going up each week. I can't get enough of the song "Did You See The Words". 6 Sigur Rós 14 Loove the song Hoppipolla. Besides that I don't realy know why I started listening to them again. 7 Silver Jews 12 Recently downloaded American Water and those are what these plays are from. 8 Explosions in the Sky 11 Again randomly listened to a few albums by them, nothing to really say. 9 The Black Keys 6 I've recently turned my friends onto them, these plays were probably from them. |

It's not too bad, i drift off near the end though. I see the PJ comparisons though, it was a lot darker than i was expecting which is always good, not varied enough though.

I discovered these guys after hearing the song "Write it All Down for You" once or twice on the local indie station. I loved it right away, despite being slightly out of my comfort zone. I ordered Mountain Meadows within a week, it's really good but it did take a few listens to grow on me though since it's pretty alt-country/americana and I don't listen to much if any. I just started playing it now actually. On this album the vocals really remind me of Jeremy Enigk from Sunny Day Real Estate and Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon. I think that's partly what attracted me to it. Also I downloaded Ambassador some time back but still haven't played it, I've only heard a few songs while shuffling.

DJ/Uproot 23
Re-listened to a briiliant mix that encompasses Dubstep, Hip Hop, BreakBeat and Techno. Front 242 16 One of the original and best EBM bands. The sort of music that is great for driving to. Fat Freddy's Drop14 Their new release is still getting plenty of airtime. The Black Seeds 13 If you like FFD then you will love this NZ band too. Easy chilled soulful Reggae/Dub with a hint of funk. Poison Idea 13 One of the finest punk bands ever and their seminal 'Feel The Darkness' album is balls out Punk fury. Jellyfish 13 The track 'New Mistake' came out in the early 90's and was a great slice of well written Pop music and Anteater sent me the album which holds up really well. The Abyssinians12 Quintessential Roots Reggae. The Budos Band 11 On a tip from Sidewinder. This is old school dirty Funk although I do prefer the Quantic Soul orchestra who are similar but a little more raw. The Cinematic Orchestra 11 Ma Fleur is quite simply a beautiful album in the vein of Zero 7 but much more better with hints of Jazz and Soul. Karnivool 11 The Aussie bands latest release has been getting plenty of listens both on the PC and my main system. Great Alt Metal. If you like Tool or V.A.S.T you would really like them. The Charlatans 10 Classic British Rock/Pop band who are nothing special but just great at what they do. Their release from a year or two back got an airing. Bill Withers 10 I had only ever associated him with his hit 'Lovely Day' and just thought he was a crooner for the cardigan brigade. I got his greatest hits a couple of months back and was blown away. Brilliant classy soul with a hint of funk. Use Me is such a great song. Ozzy Osbourne10 His second album 'Diary Of A Madman' is my favourite release of his by far and is a fantastic heavy metal album. The Oscillation 9 A sort of alternative/Psychedelic rock band with a little bit of dub in there. Underated for sure. U-Roy 8 Get your bongs out for this classic Roots Reggae artist. Sleepy Sun 8 Courtesy of Comus this sun drenched chilled Psychedelic Rock band deserve more attention. Everything but the Girl 8 I just love tracy Thorn's Melancholic vocal delivery and lyrics. Amplified heart is a great downtempo acoustic Pop album. Evil Empire 8 Mental ska album with Hip hop, blast beats, punk and Reggae all thrown in. Fantastic. Busdriver 8 i'm a big fan of the Hip hop man with his original flow and brilliant beats but his latest didn't blow me away as much as his other releases. Needs more time to grow. Graham Coxon7 The Blur guitarist played pretty much every instrument on the album (Love Travels At Illegal Speeds) and it's an upbeat Pop infused set of Garage Rock songs.

Why do you want to reset your plays? Your charts should be updating automatically on the fly (or after you scrobble a portable device).
