^ Theres actually only two of my first ten recommendations that arent a band I have been meaning to check out for way too long now. Thats Grand Magus and Shape of Despair, so I will do eventually

Have you heard any BRMC before? Im listening to them right now after reading your post as I hadnt in a long time. Far from original stuff but I cant help but get so pumped listening to this band. I just want to go out now, get incredibly drunk and have a great time.

BRMC used to be this awesome throwback rock n' roll band that made fun music and had a great fanbase. Their last album has dimmed my appreciation for them quite a bit.

Self-titled and Howl are still damn good though.

Was their last one Baby 81? If so I loved it. Howl is the one I have trouble getting into. I like it, just not as much as the other three.

MRI - Helicopter Head They remind me of The Police and U2 with a hint of Alice In Chains and London Suede as well. Neat video of a fish swimming on a sea of candles mixed with live footage too. This band has a dreamy, artistic vision in their sound. Like a movie soundtrack...
