Create your own band lineup?
Lead Vocals/Piano - John Lennon
Lead Guitar/Sitar/Vocals - George Harrison Rhythm Guitar/Vocals - Syd Barrett Bass Guitar/Viola - John Cale Drums - Keith Moon Which would break up in about a month due to egos and drugs But who cares. Last edited by Double X; 11-15-2008 at 12:07 PM. |

Haha the funny thing is I think about this subject quite often.
Of todays life people it would have to be Vocals -Sting (but lyrics written by PaulSimon and Anthony Kiedis) Bass- Flea Guitar- John Frusciante and Omar Alfredo Rodríguez-López Drums-Dave Grohl (RHCP is pretty close to perfect for me) |

Fantasy Band, Fantasy Location
Who would your fantasy band consist of? What venues would you/they play and where?
Also, what would this act be called? Drums...Bonzo Bass...Les Claypool Guitar...Jimmy Page Rhythm guitar/sitar...George Harrison Keyboards...Trent Reznor Vocals...John Kay The Basking Apes would play auditoriums in America, large festivals in Europe, and airport hangers in countries nobody's heard of.

this is f*cking impossible, i thought i was getting somewhere but i ended up with 4 or 5 rotating members for each part... and another 3 or 4 just standing around looking cool. so it's not definitive. but it's a stadium-straddling super-rock outfit, nothing too highbrow
mollycculs - manager, accountant, creative co-ordinator, 'vibes' scott walker/ david bowie - vocals frank zappa - lead guitar/ sometime arranger and orchestra conductor prince - second guitar, various instrumental duties (it's my band and i want another one) johnny thunders - rhythm guitar/ backing vocals chris squire - bass guitar richard starkey - drums (leave off you bastards he's up to this job) sun ra - keys and synthesizers, principally Vox organ. this seems like an erroneous choice but luckily our visions coincide when in 2012 Saturn aligns with the earth, he takes it as a sign and does whatever the f*ck i tell him mark e.smith/ malcolm eden (from 80's socialist indiepop group McCarthy) - lyrics bez - backing vibes, pure-grade mandy (NO OTHER DRUGS ALLOWED) there would also be a visual co-ordinator of some sort but i can't think of anyone who's famous for working projectors and lighting also optional would be Terminator X and any number of MC's (preferably Biz Markie, he would need the money) for old skool-breaks in the intermission... At this point Syd Barrett would be amongst the crowd serving tea and battenburg cake. EDIT: also john lennon and paul mcCartney on tape loops and percussion variously Last edited by Molecules; 01-24-2009 at 07:16 PM. |
