3 guitars in a band??????
There is a band who play locally who's set-up is singer-bassist-drummer all standard but with 3 guitars.
I've heard them play at a venue in town and although it sounds like an inventive concept it just sounded like a whirlwind of noise and confusion to me. I couldn't hear the different riffs/progressions. Has anyone else come across any bands with 3 guitars and if so what did you think of them???

my old band had three guitars, a singer, a bassist and a drummer..
my new one will too....seeing as its gonna be the same three guitarists. that is..unless the rythym guitarist decides to play bass..

I didn't realise there were that many. The only ones I know of from the list are The Eagles and Radiohead.
Maybe it's just the particular band I saw or even the room they played in that caused what I can only describe as noise.
