Default 3 guitars in a band??????

There is a band who play locally who's set-up is singer-bassist-drummer all standard but with 3 guitars.

I've heard them play at a venue in town and although it sounds like an inventive concept it just sounded like a whirlwind of noise and confusion to me. I couldn't hear the different riffs/progressions.

Has anyone else come across any bands with 3 guitars and if so what did you think of them???

You can hear a few demos on our myspace site. (www.myspace.com/psynemusic) more will be uploaded in the near future.

Please listen and leave feedback on our Forum http://psyne.proboards74.com we would love to know what people outside of our town think of us.
