you dont have to read or watch anything. IF you say you hate something its still support.it still will get alote of attention and thus live on..
you blind piece of ****...

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 11-17-2005 12:19 PM

violent arent you....?

if you give something negative feedback, it does not thrive, it suffers because it looses its support (aka its source of money) and it goes to hell.

think before you call people blind peices of sh*t, ok?

crimepartner 11-17-2005 12:25 PM

you are blind if you dont see that. Look at eminems career, millions of people didn't like him and he got bigger and bigger. If you dont understand, than your ignorance against me is in the way, or you are beyond understanding(idiot).

negative feedback is FEEDBACK. if a million people comment on anything then it is gaining popularity, audviously......

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 11-17-2005 12:35 PM

i dont think you realize that the people that dont like eminem, are probably far outnumbered by the people that do like him. (and im referring only to the people that listen to that particilar genre, otherwise your argument of that would have been completely outrageous)

if a million people comment on something...its not gaining popularity. publicity and popularity are two different things. obviously

and negative feedback will get anything shut down.

negative feed back is just as good if not better than posotive feed

bcuz shock value makes ppl popular ...such as ozzy
or even eminem

you must know nothing about marketing in any aspect,if you dont know any attention is better then no attention. things that get no attention are the things that lose popularity. negative feedback doesnt shut anything down, unless it is from a high power, and little "I hate this, it doesn't have what I want" comments dont have any power, but get other peoples attention, and maybe another person will like it and buy it. I hope you learned something.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 11-17-2005 01:06 PM

although negative comments made by the media (however corrupt that may be) tend to influence people's opinions and what they buy. and the mainstream media tends to make comments only on mainstream music. therefore, people never hear about the underground music. thus no one but the people that listen to it will ever make comments on it.

so sure, negative comments might give the mainstream music attention, but the mainstream music, the music promoted by the industry, promoted by the mainstream media, is the music that is dying. not the underground music, that is thriving.

THE GOLDEN STRING 11-17-2005 01:32 PM

main stream music seems to be gaining popularity to me ....

crimepartner 11-17-2005 01:33 PM

Ima glad you can somewhat get the point I was making.
