Ooo, House of Secrets by Otep is major goodebumpage! Hmm, also My December by Linkin Park, Dragonfly by Atomship... they are chilling.
|
Thursday - Steps Ascending. Every time. I actually get physical goosebumps, its crazy. Love it to bits, they've always been the band to get me like that. :)
|
"murderotica" and "memphis will be laid to waste" give me chills simply because they are soo horrible. it erks me to know that musicians that bad can become that popular.
on the positive side..chapter four by aveged sevenfold always seems to give me chills because it reminds me of the summer when i first heard about them...which was pretty much the best summer of my life. (not because it was the summer i heard of them....of course) i may be lame but im not that lame. |
Never is a Promise - Fiona Apple
Ghost Love Score - Nightwish Follow the Reaper - Children of Bodom Also any song by abandoned pools |

Songs really don't give me goosebumps.

Walking in the air - Nightwish ... and some other too ;)

Tori Amos - Me and a Gun. Scares the bejesus out of me, her voice is like a spider walking up your arm. |

The Warm Room from the Kate Bush album Lionheart.
|
The Promise by Bruce Springsteen which is like a sequel to Thunder Road.I find it very sad cause our hero and Mary didn't made it out of their town full of loosers...
|
Pretty much every song from Comus' First Utterance.
|
Elliott Smith - Cupid's Trick
At The Drive-In - Arcarsenal |
The last minute of this track when the piano kicks in:
Click on the 3 minute mark and listen to some stunning guitar work. What a fucking voice. Absolutely stunning. R.I.P Jeff. |
Mad World by Gary Jules
Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode |

I don't know why, i just love that song. Usually I prefer the original version of a song, but I just like Gary Jule's version much better than the original Tears for Fears version.
|
this really is a ridiculous thread & should be deleted

^^Since Ian Killed himself^^ Elliott's last song on his last show before he died |
Massive Attack - Angel
Radiohead - Airbag Nirvana - All Apologies (unplugged) GYBE! - Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada EP |

Also "The Noose" by a Perfect Circle "Hunt" and "Broken Record" by Scarling gives me chills as well. "Vinland Saga" by Leaves Eyes because it was the first track they played when I saw them live and every time it plays now I get the same feeling. |
Where The Night Goes - Lilys
Colorblind - Counting Crows Sunken City - Souls She Said Hypnotized - Spacemen 3 Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space - Spiritualized |
Radiohead-Creep.
|
^Listen to the cover of that by Scarling. Trust me.
|
I'd have to say Falling Back to Me by Our Lady Peace. Somethign about that song gives me chills everytime I hear it.
|
Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley. Gives me shivers when it gets to the line "Did you say...no this can't happen to me?" Why did he have to die when Barry Manilow got to live?
|
Jackhammer, I couldn't agree more about All I need!
Be my Number Two - Joe Jackson Calender Girl - Stars Paper Shoes - Incubus I'm sure there's more, but those 4 really make me shiver when I listen to them.. |
Nude by Radiohead
|
Don't Panic by Coldplay

but anyway, songs that always send chills down my spine.. hmm.. Sabbath - War Pigs (The Outro) Radiohead - Jigsaw Falling Into Place Gorillaz - Stop The Dams Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven (The Solo) |
Exit Music - Radiohead
when it starts to erupt from a man and his guitar into an almost orchestral boom it always gives me chills |
Does He Love You? by Rilo Kiley is the only one that comes to mind. I don't usually get chills during a lot of songs, I get really sad or something but not chills. Does He Love You? is the only one that makes me shiver, when Jenny kicks into the "Let's not forget ourselves good friends" part, that's when it happens. Every time.
