What's Jet magazine?
I think that although Jet's riff in 'Are you gonna be my girl' rips off Lust for Life, the Jet song is actually much better (Iggy Pop just drones on and on). Its the only decent song Jet have got though - the others have good enough tunes but the guitars just play a load of repetitive spiky chords in everything, have no real variety and aren't worth repeat listens. |

Well assuming we let the promotion side of it go now, tis still a Jet thread, like everyone else has used it as..
AND, on that note, Jet bore me. So much. If they ever manage to do something new and interesting, let me know, eh?

I personally really love Jet. I think their music is really cool. They are an amazing band live too (or so I've been told) - sadly missed out on them this year in the UK as I was living in Munich at the time.
Some of Jets stuff is really emotional - like "Move On" and "Come Around Again" - great songs if you ever wanna give them a try. |
