"paul mccartney is dead" hoax
ive read all the clues, most of them ludricrous, others strange.
heres a link to them, with photos and all. whaddya think? http://www.beatles-discography.com/a...ead-clues.html i myself think its bull. |
It can be arranged

Some of those clues are actualy quite interesting, its highly possible that Paul died in a freaky car acident and they hired some dude to stand in as Paul throughout the beatles career and until his death, its possible, however its not very plausible, whoever wrote this article didn't specifiy quite enough and some of his statements were invalid, for example he says that the pair of bloody gloves that appear on the Sgt Pepper cover were in fact the gloves Paul was wearing when he died, which he didn't even try to prove, though the sibliminal stuff on the album covers and crap are pretty creepy and they kinda do freak me out, but i guess we will never know the truth. o_O

I bet it was William Campbell that wrote "The Frog Chorus".

i remember living through this. it made great fun studying the album covers looking for all the clues, and, there really was sort of uneasiness about it all, the fabbers being such societal cutting edge icons and all. it didn't take long for it all to subside. not too long after '69 the beatles were no more. the rest as they say is history.
uncle paulie puts on a show that shouldn't be missed but he's lost credibility with this ex-devotee. the arrogance associated with the fairly recent 'i want my name first' song writing thing with yoko really did kill him for me. parts of my youth just keep eroding away. sometimes i'm not sad at all about it. i was partial to george anyway. that loss was really tough for me to take. s |
OOOOOh
I Wanna bring this thread back I read "The Walrus Was Paul" A book on the Beatles death clues I think that this was very obviously a hoax......but I think that the Beatles put them in the albums on purpose I mean.....it worked brilliantly about 12 out of the 20 best selling albums of the 60's Are Beatles records Partly because the Beatles made amazing music but also partly because people were very curious to find the next "clue" I think that this was possibly the best thought out and Most successful publicity stunt ever Some of these clues are really thought out I didnt click the link so this may be common knowledge but My favorite clue is If you hold a straight edge mirror up to the "Lonely Hearts" emblem in the middle of the drum on Sgt. Pepper It clearly says 1 ONE IX HE ^ DIE the "^" points directly at paul Interesting HOAX Fun reading though. If interested read "The Walrus Was Paul" The Great Beatles Death Clues http://www.turnmeondeadman.net/IBP/IBPX/HeDie.jpg |

Most Beatle fans back then knew or at least sensed it was a hoax. Whether the Fab Four originated it, I don't know. But there's no doubt they intentionally planted phony clues in their music and on their album covers, though I don't think it resulted in a substantial boost in their already enormous record sales. Those who were interested enough in the Beatles to care if Paul was dead or not, were going to buy their albums anyway.
It is TRUE that they also did some "backward masking". If you play backwards the part of "Revolution #9" where it keeps repeating "number 9, number 9, number 9"---you'll clearly hear a voice saying "Turn me on, dead man". Several friends and myself all heard it plain as day. |
