And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

A new side to death? maybe one that isn't so "punk" hmmm.

anyway, I like the new cd. a hell of a lot more than anything else they have done.

****in worst. honestly, i am critical of music, but this is the worst thing ever. **** rock+sap+overproduction+evanescence vocal patterns+similarities along with alien ant farm hooks= worst release ever.

You are so jaded about the current state of music. have you not heard the entire album? it flows so well. and songs like Welcome Home show a different side to the band. and evanescence? where did you get that from? honestly frost, I agree with alot of what you say, but this is absurd, you are so wrapped up in your world of this is this and that is that, that you cannot appreciate something that isn't "real" emo. This is prog more than anything by the way.

i had to sit through the whole album. and tried to be open minded. its ****. thats all. its a bunch of *******s who kept with their "theme oriented" "prog" music. yeah, real cool. this album doesnt have flow, it has cheezy guitar riffs and lame hooks along with some of the lamest layered vocals ive ever heard.

current state of music? some of the best albums have come out this year...

Mouth of the Architect- time and withering
A Life Once Lost- Hunter
Dredg- Catch Without Arms
Sigur Ros- Takk
Red Sparowes- At The Soundless Dawn
Napalm Death- The Code Is Red...Long Live The Code
Entombed- Unreal Estate
Cryptopsy- Once Was Not
Aborted- The Archaic Abbatoir
Bongzilla- Amerijuanican
Buried Inside- Chronoclast
Soilent Green- Confrontation
Nile- Annihilation Of The Wicked
Pelican- The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw
Pelican- March Into The Sea EP
Jesu- S/T
municipal waste - hazardous mutation

i consider people who dont listen to music unless it is shoved down their throats to be jaded.
