Do you remember your first Compact Disc purchase?
I do. It was the Boomerang soundtrack. I honestly don't remember why, must've been a song on there I liked. Boyz II Men I think. :insec:
I think the real fun, though, was hearing the clarity of CDs and the ability to skip/repeat tracks with ease. Oh, how I suffered with cassette tapes. Next week I will start a new thread "Do you remember the first MP3 you ever downloaded?".

All I got free was, 'The Very Best Of Elkie Brooks'. (still have it) The cd player was a Marantz. I laughingly upgraded to a AIWA music centre. It held 5 cd's at once and it took pride of place next to the t.v. Within 12 months the cd player had broke along with the tape to tape cassette player. All that was left was the tuner.(AWAI never again). I now own (as if you care) a DENON with mission speakers and its the dogs bollocks! |

it took me forever to jump on the cd bandwagon, it was all about vinyl for years and years with me. I think the first cd was a Dead Kennedys tribute compilation called "Virus 100" for the 100th release on Alternative Tentacles.
