Can you sing in tune?
Can you sing in tune?
I'm constantly surprised by the number of people who spend all day listening to music and can't sing a song with the correct notes/rhythm or play a tune on an instrument by ear. I know that this probably represents a majority of the population. As somebody who can sing in tune and play music by ear I was just wondering what its like for those who are tone deaf and love music. Whats it like, to listen to music while knowing that you can't play it? What do you look for in music, what do you like about music? How is it different to poetry recitals in your mind? I hope nobody finds this offensive in any way, its actually something that's always interested me and I'd be really keen to hear your answers. Please don't reply if you have perfect pitch! |

Can you sing when you're drunk though?
I like the quote oojay's got and it gave me a question that is unrelated to music - did Darwin have any children and are any of his descendants alive today? Think I'll look that one up. |
