Can anyone tell me who the attached bands might be. We are completing a little test and we have 270 of them to work out I am hoping to post some of the ones we are stuck on on here.
If anyone can help it would be really appreciated. Kind Regards Jodi |

We went back there and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

Hi,
I think I might know 3 of them. The numbers I've written are the jpg numbers on the files. Its difficult to tell at the moment though, because the pictures were very small. 3 - Transvision Vamp 8 - Texas (I think it Sharleen Spiteri, the lead singer, with the black hair at the front. Search the web for her to see if you agree.) 12 - Sparks (I'm sure about this one) 13 - I have no idea about this one. They are most likely a band from the mid 80's though, as this is I think when the other photographs would have been taken. Hope that helps. Please nobody give me hassle for this knowledge of 80's musicians. I've watched VH1 a few times and happen to have an extremely good memory for faces. |

Amazing stuff
Thanks heaps for the reply - the 3 you thought you knew were right. Cant believe I did not recognise transmission vamp.
I have some more to check on - will post them later. Thanks once again. Attachment 13 is still a mystery though. Jodi |

No problem.
Actually, if I had to take a wild guess at no 13 I would have guessed 'Men at Work' who I think did that 'I come from the Land Down Under' sometime in the mid 80s. This some of the guys in the photo were wearing those baggy sleeveless tops that only Australians, rednecks and guys with bad mullets wear. These guys didn't look like rednecks or have particularly bad mullets (if I remember correctly), so I figure they're probably Australian. They weren't AC/DC, I don't think they were INXS and they definitely weren't Crowded House or Silverchair! So I would guess they were Men at Work. I have no idea what they look like though, so this is a silly guess inspired by a weird string of logic. If not, they might instead be Tears for Fears, who were from Scotland, but I guess could also have worn those funny outfits. The guy just to left of centre in the photo looked vaguely like the lead singer and it seemed he was the one you were supposed to focus on in the photo, judging by his expression. |
