Default Jeff Buckley

i got his one and only full length album "grace" back in august and havn't stopped listening to it. 8 out of the 10 songs would be album highlights on any other record.. this guy was just genius and in a way his death meant that he will always be remembered for this one almost flawless piece of art.

yeah, buckley deserves several threads it seems. im guilty of a similiar thread myself so thats not a criticism. love buckleys music, grace is one of the favourite albums in my collection. grace, last goodbye, hallelujah (waits for tom to mention rufus wainwright) are all classics.

Default Jeff Buckley

I didn't wanna catergorise this guy incase people didnt read the topic.
Jeff was an amzing artist, writing one of my favourite songs 'Hallelujah'. He wrote the phenomanal 'Grace' and was extremely talented.
Well Jeff died mysteriously in a boating accident in 1997. God I remember crying, he wrote such beautiful lyrics.
It was recently the anniversary of his passing and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on Jeff.

well, you cant judge his ability too much seing as he only recorded one studio album. but the conclusions that can be drawn from grace are that he had an amazing voice, a competency on the guitar and a knack for writing very heartwarming, great songs. would of loved to see how he progressed.
