I didn't think that kind of thing was possible in American media, it seems to be too commercial and ass kissing for something like that. The Brits on the other hand have a tendency to mock music stars.

But back to Buckley, my favorite part of the interview is when he explains how if everyone was just thought the technical side of playing music without imposing any special kind of music or style of playing on the musician, there would be thousands of new genres of music sprouting each day, because people would just express what they felt inside. I thought that was very true, and explains how and why he was so original and ahead of his time. He just did what he felt like, the structures of his songs are bordering on progressive, he changes directions and pace 5 times in one minute, on one song he's pure rock, on the other he's soul, the third it's jazz, on the forth he's everything. Incredible. It's a rare talent to be able to step away from conventionality and do your own thing without really trying.

Jesuss Grace is one of my favorite albums ever, I can't decide which is my favorite song between Hallelujah and Last Goodbye. But Hallelujah is still like, holy shitt to listen to. He has the most beautiful voice ever, other then Elliott.

i like eternal life, a lot.

i havent listened to him nearly enough yet to pick a favorie, i only own grace.

will definitly be getting another album by him soon.

Jeff Buckley had a 29 octave voice!

And 26 of those were the same octave!!

My favourite song was the one about the fairground, although I have no idea what it's called because I lost the CD case. He didn't write it but when he did covers he picked some mighty fine ones.
