What advantages does FM radio in the u.s. have over Spotify and vice versa?

I don't know exactly what you are asking, but it brings me to a question that I myself have. My newest favorite singer, Mason Ramsey, is going to release a new song on Friday February 7th and its a song with a girl named Harper Grace. Before now, I had never heard of her. I did read earlier today that she was on American Idol one year, but that is a show that I have never kept up with all that much and so my question is, does this girl get any time on the radio at all? I am asking because I am under the impression that Mason doesn't get any radio time at all. How did I discover him? I saw him being talked about at another music message forum and it was right after he released his song named "Reasons To Come Home" in the summer of 2023. I checked him out and of course you know the rest. Anyway, I have never once ran across him on any radio station and so of course I am like, "What the heck?" Anyway, before it was announced that Harper Grace was going to be the girl that sings with Mason, other fans at his Instagram started guessing who was going to sing with him. They started naming off singers that I have never heard of. What I want to know is if any of the singers that they named off are on the radio at all. If they are not on the radio, my big question is how are they being discovered exactly by any of the fans that they have?
