Default Songs Lasting One Minute Or Less

Yes, some such songs are album filler, but there are lot of good short ones, too.
Post filler or good one, either is fine, I'm not taking sides in the matter. I avoid controversy, except when it comes to dissing Peppers, Nature's Perfect Food.

Here's Shel Silverstein, who, as the lyrics reveal, had a purpose for writing such a short tune:

To me, the only songs that go for a minute or less are TV show theme songs. The following are my favorites.

God bless you and the singers always!!!

Holly (a fan of the Who's The Boss? singer)

P.S. Steve Wariner is the Who's The Boss? singer, but I have no idea who sings the Growing Pains song in the clip that I have here. I only know that the late great B.J. Thomas was the original singer who did a wonderful job on it, but I have always loved how the song was done in the later seasons of the show.

This song, a solo track by Sue Harshe of the great band Scrawl (are you into them, Buckeye Randy?), really deserves to be longer than its 50 second length. I empathize with Sue's wish for what happens when she leaves this mortal coil:

The album the song is on is pictured in my post. It featured 50 songs from 50 band each lasting 50 seconds. Sorry you didn’t notice.

Exactly What We Don't Want to Hear - Game Theory (because it just sneaks in under a minute)
Everyone's Had Dinner With Rabbit - Lawrence Arabia (because it's a kiwi track)
Her Majesty - The Beatles (because it finishes Abbey Road by sounding like it's not finished)

I've heard the Beatles track before but not the other two--now I'm anxious to check them out.

This one's just over a minute, from one of my favorite albums of the '90s - Canadian musician Meryn Cadell's debut album Angel Food For Thought.
