Songs Lasting One Minute Or Less
Yes, some such songs are album filler, but there are lot of good short ones, too.
Post filler or good one, either is fine, I'm not taking sides in the matter. I avoid controversy, except when it comes to dissing Peppers, Nature's Perfect Food. Here's Shel Silverstein, who, as the lyrics reveal, had a purpose for writing such a short tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxGX9OeQCCo |

To me, the only songs that go for a minute or less are TV show theme songs. The following are my favorites.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNz1e3PWqo0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dvzR0jfxKk God bless you and the singers always!!! Holly (a fan of the Who's The Boss? singer) P.S. Steve Wariner is the Who's The Boss? singer, but I have no idea who sings the Growing Pains song in the clip that I have here. I only know that the late great B.J. Thomas was the original singer who did a wonderful job on it, but I have always loved how the song was done in the later seasons of the show. |
