"Concerts" You've Seen That Were So Lame They Don't Count As Concerts
This is diffferent from the Bad Concerts thread in that you wouldn't even put them on your list, if you kept one, of concerts you've attended.
Trans Siberian Orchestra I tool my then high school aged daughter as a reward for good grades. The first thing I noticed was a lack of amps on stage: not a good sign. Most of the music was pre-recorded. It was a play with music, not a group of musicians playing a show. My daughter entered the venue as a fan of the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and left as an ex-fan. Richard Marx Every summer around July 4, one of Cincinnati's suburbs puts on a free concert at a huge park featuring a "name" act. I was lukewarm at best about seeing this one, but I went with Mrs. Drjohnrock, her sister, and her sister's husband. Much to the chagrin of the ladies, I spent most of the show playing games on my phone, while my sister-in-law's husband alternated between glaring at the stage and directing verbal abuse at Marx. When the best song from someone who's known as a songwriter is a cover (I Hear You Knocking), you've got problems. Aside from that tune and one of the originals, not one tune was memorable. Oh well, it was a nice summer day with tolerable humidity. |

^^^ That yearly free show that you speak of in Cincinnati, are you referring to the gathering named "The Taste Of Cincinnati"? I was there when Aaron Tippin and Little Texas were on the stage. They both were awesome.
God bless you and them always!!! Holly |

Ariel Pink got really, really drunk before and during a Montreal show around 2015 and the performance was unfocused. He pushed the band to play louder and rougher and he just shouted out the lyrics on top of the noise, so every song sounded basically the same.
