Default Concerts You Went To Where The Headiner Didn't Show Up

Not ones that were cancelled or postponed in advance, but ones where you showed up for the concert but the headliner didn't.

Sylvain Sylvain (ex-New York Dolls) had a free concert scheduled to promote a solo album. A guy walked to the microphone and said "Good evening. Sylvain Sylvain didn't show up." He went on to say they received no calls (pre-internet, kids) or other communication explaining why. That meant the opening act was now the headliner. Since I didn't care for the band (basically a new wave tourist attraction), I left. Oh well, the beer I bought and consumed at the venue was good.

Another time, I went to see Heart to find out Ann Wilson was under the weather and the show would have to be rescheduled. I was able to go the rescheduled date.

A friend of mine from school once drove two and a half hours in the rain to Wheeling, West Virginia to see Dan Fogelberg only to arrive and find out the show was cancelled (again, pre-internet). He got what he deserved.
