Sanguine personality type is described primarily as being highly talkative, enthusiastic, active, and social. A melancholic personality leads to self-reliant individuals who are thoughtful, reserved, and often anxious. They often strive for perfection within themselves and their surroundings, which leads to tidy and detail-oriented behavior.

Phlegmatic individuals tend to be relaxed, peaceful, quiet, and easy-going. They are sympathetic and care about others, yet they try to hide their emotions. Phlegmatic individuals are also good at generalising ideas or problems to the world and making compromises.

well, except that I feel more melancholic than the test shows

Mine seems fairly accurate too - except I expected much higher on Melancholic and definitely lower on Sanguine.

(I think my answer that I like "excitement" accounted for the higher Sanguine. I do have an adventurous streak and do like excitement -- but only in my imagination, lol.) <------ Edit/Correction: Wrong! Actually, I just looked at the test again and noticed there is no question about "excitement". I think there was such a question on another test I took recently. Sorry about that.

I definitely relate to being preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty of the world. I often view things through a lense of karma, not because I think the world exists in karmic balance, but because when I think a theoretical karmic balance is out of whack I feel stressed and want to lash out. I'm sure a psychologist could explain why this means I'm a prospective serial killer.
