Oh yeah right. I def agree that the designs got goofier as time went on. After the first two games they started looking less and less like potentially real animals.

Yeah, exactly. I decided to actually watch the video and the second column wasn't so bad either, but after that the evolves began to make less sense and frankly, they ugly. Oshawott to Samurott, huh? Also, why the hell are so many of them bipedal?

The first form evolutions in later games often look like they were designed in such a way that they'd look better as stuffed animals than in-game. And no Pokemon has ever looked as awesome as Scyther.
