It's nice to know that the spirit of Man perseveres and survives. :rolleyes: Actually, I've seen the future via National Geo: we all end up uploading our minds to a Matrix-like environment on a master server (The Metaverse, they're calling it) and we live forever digitally.

The complete heat death of the universe is the single most depressing thing I can think of. I don't care if I don't live forever, but I want some kind of life to always be around or have a chance to develop on some rock out there in the vastness of space.

Luckily as subjects of the universe, time exists on our plane in a way that will make it seem like the universe will never end, even if we live right up to the end of the universe.
