How is it hard to understand that restricting obscure music to music that isn't so obscure that it can't easily be found on the internet defeats the purpose of a thread about obscure music?

How hard is it to understand that without rules, everything descends into horrific anarchy? We need rules of some kind, even if they're arbitrary.

And ya know maybe we're trying to have a discussion on a discussion forum. Maybe next time one of us disagrees with you, consider that we actually disagree with you and are not just out to get you.
No.

I'll tell you what is is, cos in fairness I think that glib answer is not really fair.
If you were to actually make a point of saying something along the lines of "I don't think that's a good idea, try this maybe" instead of being all snarky and smart about just about any of my ideas, I wouldn't take such offence. But you seem to dive in as soon as you see one of my threads, take it apart and try to find something wrong with it, that's what ****ing bugs me about you. And there are only a few people you do this with, so yes, it does seem personal. I can take criticism, but you don't criticise, dude: you belittle and smirk and pretend you know better than anyone else.

That is a thing with which I have a problem.

Considering the original idea was to make a leaderboard as each person's music was found to be obscure enough to go on the board, then yes, obviously, you needed to be able to listen to it to say you'd heard it. In that case, making obscure music eligible that was unavailable to others made no sense, so in the spirit of the original thread, that was the idea. When you and your buddy decided to throw that out the window and change the whole idea of the thread, then it became irrelevant, but originally it made sense.

Get rid of the rule. Thread fixed. Or I'll give you a noogie.

Chill, Trollheart. You're becoming more whiny than Phil Collins.

I usually just don't add the "hey buddy not too sure about that idea but here's a neat alternative!" because I figure it's implied. The malice in my posts are on your end mate, even if I occasionally have the nerve to make a joke in a response.
