You know that thing I do on here when I'm a dick and get into ****storms? I like to do that on other people's statuses with their friends.

Nah, if I were afraid of ****storms I wouldn't have kept Big3 around as long as I have. What happened was I revoked my fanship of Swans after finding out Gira was a pos (I am not a person that separates the artist from their art) and I think you posted something about accusations of rape against him not mattering because his music is so good and it annoyed me and I went on a deleting spree.

Oh that's what it was. Ja I separate the artist and art pretty much entirely. Plus that Swans record was excellent.

When an artist is amazing but theyre also a terrible person, it is justifiable to steal their music.

I justify it by the fact that there are other members of the band which is how I get around Gira being a sh*tstain. Plus, if I didn't ingest art produced by *******s I'd be cutting out a sh*t ton of stuff. I understand what Gira did was vile and disgusting and I'll never see him solo but as long as Norman Westburg, Christoph Hahn, Christopher Pravdica, and Phil Puleo are considered good dudes, I'm going to still support them.

I revoked my undying fandom of Bowie as well, which was the saddest day of my life tbh. I wish I could separate the **** from the magic, I really do, but every time I hear even my favorite Bowie songs theyre tainted by the knowledge that he ****ed a child. I just can't help it. It doesn't mean I stop recognizing the talent or influence of these artists, it just kills my enjoyment of it.

Also as a bastard I reserve the right to use that word loosely.
