But I just generally don't want to read a giant wall of text when I know it's going to be filled with cliched and repetitive descriptions of music like, "a blazing solo".

That's my journal - well, any of them really - you're referring to, and you retain the right not to read what I write. Nobody's forcing you. If I write walls of text outside of my journals it's usually to get a point across, and should be worth reading. You've written some in your time too. Sorry I'm not the master of one-liners like you are. I prefer to think out my posts logically and carefully, and yes I run off at the mouth once I start to write, but I rarely write anything superfluous or unnecessary.
