Old School Video Games That Need A Reboot
 

I'm currently writing an article on this topic, and I thought it'd be fun to talk about it here as well. I've been having a crazy nostalgic trip looking back at all the old games, specifically Nintendo 64 games. Don't worry, i'm not using you guys to help with my article, I'm almost done with it. I just want to hear some people's thoughts on this.

We've talked about this already, and I'm assuming it will be on your list, but Conker's Bad Fur Day needs a reboot for Xbox One.

It is most certainly on my list. You read my mind. But I 100% agree with you.

I don't know if PS2 games are considered old-school, but the world will never be at peace until the day that Bumpy Trot finally gets it's sequel.

Breathe of Fire, Donkey Kong Adventure?, Spyro, and Streets of Rage.

A fully updated remake needs to happen.

Streets of Rage.

i think a reboot/remake of legend of the dragoon would be cool. hd remakes of a lot of other ps1 games would be nice; maybe jade cocoon or final fantasy ix. also, i'd love new installations of vigilante 8/twisted metal or monster rancher, and definitely something breath of fire-related like vwl's said, as long as it's not another mobile game

They should reboot GTA, I used to love that when I was a kid.

Oh. **** yes. Both of them need a remake. I've played more than 100 hours on each of them.

They just need to make some damn sequels already, but I'd be happy with HD remakes and more lightsaber options.

No I'm talking about Grand Theft Auto, not whatever you're talking about. I forget sometimes that not everybody knows the same acronyms as me.

I'd love to see a third installment of them. My only fear is that it wouldn't do well, and it would cause a sour taste to the pre-existing games. It's unfortunate that The Old Republic didn't do as well as planned, even if I played it and enjoyed it.

I have both games on my computer. I think I might go annoy Bastila into sleeping with me. It's really the only time that tactic has ever worked.

I have them both as well. Have had them for years. I've been wanting to play through both of them again, but I feel like I just did. Plus, they're not really well optimized.

I haven't beaten the second game, and I haven't played the first in years, so I ended up buying 2 a while back. Of course it's sketchy as **** on a 360, so I ended up buying both games off Steam. Of course the controls are sketchy on a computer, but now that I know I can use my 360 controller it might be time to get back into it.

Dude...beat the 2nd game. It's really ****ing good.

I was getting into 2, but then there was a glitch (****ing 360) that made it so that my party disappeared, and I had a ****ty Consular (whichever is the one that focuses on Force powers) who couldn't make it past this one part on his own, so I had to restart, and the prologue really is too damn long.

I played that for a while.

If you ever do play it again, trust me on this, try to be on Kreias good side as much as you can. It won't show it does much, but it pays off. Her story is mindblowing. She'll start to trust you a lot and it's really cool.

I always feel weird when I get closer to Kreia. It always feels like I'm on the way to going to the Bone Zone with an old-as-**** chick.

I do too. She's super rich in story though. It makes the ending even more mindblowing as well.

Will keep in mind. Do the games at least function correctly on a computer?

I haven't played recently but I remember it had a few issues. Nothing game breaking but I'd look up patches if possible.

It was pretty flabbergasting. How do you **** up that badly? I'm pretty sure that's not something that happens if you play it on an actual XBox, but that's so egregious that somebody should still be held accountable. My party... they were just gone... and I couldn't get them back... wtf?

ki's butt could use a reboot.

Oh yeah, I tried playing it on the 360 once. The music had some kind of glitch and didn't work, so I never saw any advantageous reason to play it on the 360 over the Xbox.

By the way, I started a new game on KOTOR 2. All someone has to do is mention this game and I want to play it. I don't think I've ever beaten the first game more than once. It was too one-dimensional, and the star forge is hell.

**** you the first game was amazing. Being a dickbag to Bastila was hilarious.

The first game is phenomenal but the second game is so much better.

I just wish the prologue wasn't so damn long.
