If you're going to take that route, I'm not sure why you're drinking beer. I drink beer to get drunk (incidentally that's number one on my aforementioned list of reasons), but I choose it over other alcohols because of the taste. If it weren't for that I'd probably drink hard liquor more often.

I have questionable logic. I wonder this myself too. I get heart palpitations(either anxiety induced, or likely alcohol induced anxiety induced). I weigh 110 and when I told a dr I drink primarily beer one time(even though this wasn't neccessarily the case) they shrugged it off so I got the impression maybe I could drink all the beer I wanted and be fine.
It's weird I know--I also like that I can drink beer straight, I ultimately end up drinking less, it takes me longer to drink and generally less likely to die. If I start drinking vodka at 10 am I'm gonna be out by 1, but with beer I can probably make much of the day.
