I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

It actually makes some kind of sense beyond just the potential novelty. Meshuggah are all about repetitive rhythms, so if there's one non-****ty genre that could work with hip hop, then I guess it's djent. I'll check out both of these bands' albums, but I'm still not anticipating brilliance. The second video is actually better than a lot of djent that I've heard though. It helps that the vocalists for both of these bands are actually not just stereotypically bad white boy rappers.

Oh yeah. I remember hearing about it at the end of the djent craze

Well, I like the bad white boy rapper. Lol. But Hacktavist really had me headbanging. I'm going to have to check them out.

I missed the djent thing. Thankfully. I was without money or computer access in the late 00's/early 10's, so I had no idea that ****ty deathcore bands were trying to pretend that they were non-****ty non-deathcore bands by ripping off Meshuggah.

I'm somewhat taken with the two Hacktivist songs I've heard as well. Will definitely check them out. They only have an EP and one full-length, so it shouldn't be too much of a time investment.

Now you're ripping on the music that got me into metal!

It's okay to hate deathcore. It's not just a trendy thing for "trve metalheads". Deathcore was largely ****. I dig a few bands, but Emmure. And Suicide Silence. And... etc.

Are you saying you don't like those bands or do like them? And it's fine to dislike it. Not everyone likes the same ****. I was just kidding. But just understand that you should like what I listen to and worship my music taste as though I'm a god.

Emmure had one song that I ever liked, and that was just cause the second half was highly decent. Suicide Silence had like, two songs I ever liked. Deathcore I actually liked...

I'm a huge fan of pre-00's metalcore, and I'll defend Trivium as a ****ty-but-fun band till death, so I'm not just some mindless 'core hater, but deathcore really is almost as bad as all the mindless metalhead drones say it is.

Ok. I can't fault you for that. I love suicide silence and Emmure was one of the best concerts i ever went to. But the rest of the deathcore genre I have to say just turned into who can be the fastest. Which eventually just became white noise.
