I'm interested to see how limited to NJ it really is since we have a pretty diverse community. Pork roll is the king of breakfast meats. Fuck bacon. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I can't recall ever seeing it in the New England area, although I don't usually buy processed meats so I might not notice it if it's available where I am. Looks like a cross between bologna and what's commonly known in New England as 'Canadian bacon.'

Maybe that is the common name for it in the U.S. and Canada. I had some friends from Montreal who used to call it "back bacon." I thought "Canadian bacon" was mostly used in the Northeastern U.S.
