I don't care if I'm called a hipster by you guys or people in my life. I look like a hipster. I have hipster traits. By all accounts, I am a hipster.

The thing I was getting at was more self realization. I didn't plan to dress this way or like the things I like because I felt I should in order to fit in or make myself look cool. I like the things I like. Just like you or anybody else does. Do those things make me hipster? Apparently they do. I just don't understand any of the reasoning behind it and I was discussing it openly.

If everybody decided to call dogs chickens, eventually dogs would just be called chickens and that'd be the end of it. You become the minority if you don't call them chickens. What I'm saying is that I just don't see the reasoning on why everybody is calling dogs chickens.

EDIT: I'd also like to acknowledge that I explained myself rather poorly during this entire ordeal.

To be perfectly honest,I don't think hipsters try this hard, they usually just effortlessly slide into their affectations rather than beat people over the head with them.
