That LiL quote reminds me of something Ki said in the shoutbox (unfortunately it's lost to the sands of time). It went something like... Quote:

If you want quotes just watch Downton Abbey and the quotes made by the Dowager Countess Voilet played by Maggie Smith. Here's a couple.
Isobel: How you hate to be wrong. Countess Violet: I wouldn’t know, I’m not familiar with the sensation. Martha Levinson: I have no wish to be a great lady. Countess Violet: A decision that must be reenforced whenever you look in the glass. “Principles are like prayers. Noble of course. But awkward at a party.” Countess Violet: “You are quite wonderful the way you see room for improvement wherever you look. I never knew such reforming zeal.” Mrs. Crawley: “I take that as a compliment.” Countess Violet: “I must’ve said it wrong.” “Don’t be defeatist, dear, it’s very middle class.” “I’m a woman, Mary. I can be as contrary as I choose.” And hundreds more |

I hope rostasi don't mind me posting our chat in plug.dj. It started with a convo about a song that Chula played, and I commented that he was an encyclopedia of music, then I thought well let me test him and low and behold he not only heard of the guy he had him over his house!!! which totally blows my mind. I'm glad I didn't bet if he knew the next artist I was going to play, I would had lost bokoo bucks.

Eddie Harris used to visit our home in Chicagoland - really funny guy - and swore like a mother****er! Neapolitan12:17am Eddie Harris attached a clarinet mouthpeice to his trumpet rostasi12:17am he did more than that - LOL Neapolitan12:18am @rostasi he visit your hometown, or your actual home? rostasi12:18am Actual home Neapolitan12:18am wow no way, get out of town rostasi12:19am we used to get a few jazz musicians around for drinks Neapolitan12:19am that literally blows my mind rostasi12:20am My mother was a jazz DJ for an all female jazz station and my father was a doctor with a big house and bar so, you know...
