Dude. I'm under thirty. Do you really think I have, or have ever had any desire to watch The French Connection?

French Connection along with the Godfather and Dirty Harry are some of the best ever movies from their era, as long as you like the crime thing of course.
Popeye Doyle is a totally badass cop and if he says you guys put relish on everything then I believe him.

Unless you're one of those annoying people who calls movies "films" then you have probably not seen The French Connection.

Here everybody uses both 'movies' and 'films' to describe cinema.

To mention the activity of going to see a film, the options we used were, see a film, go to the pictures, or go to the flics. Why not use these expressions, and make a stand for our proud heritage ? - or better yet, use cinematograph :-
