I think it is. I went straight to the ending to see if was the same movie. I guess I just remembered the ending differently.

Honestly, I'm not really all that big on gore (for example, I wasn't a huge fan of The Reanimator), but it's so ridiculous and cheesy in Riki-Oh that you can't help but laugh. My favorite part is when the guy reaches into his own stomach and pulls out his intestines, then tries to strangle the good guy with them, and the bad guy on the sidelines yells "Yeah, you've got a lot of guts!"

Yeah, but they missed one of the best parts of the movie. There's a flashback that tries to explain where the main character got his super strength and martial art powers from, and basically his crazy uncle takes him to a graveyard and throws tombstones at him until he somehow learns how to fight. It makes as much sense as it sounds...
