There is a town in NJ called Forked River.. I always read it but apparently I was saying it wrong.
The proper pronunciation is For-kid River, not Forked. I forget why but I looked it up after arguing with someone and I was wrong. |

My Step Dad used to pronounce Italian Dressing as Eye-talian Dressing. It comes from Eye-taly.
He also used to say Warsh instead of Wash too. He was a funny dude.

My friend got his dog from some place in Connecticut called "Bum Pass". I'm sure you can imagine how anyone who would be my friend would pronounce that.
