Not necessarily. I'm completely pro choice but to automatically assume that is hurtful.

Kids need their real parents. It's time we stopped pretending all this other bull**** is working when it's in our face all day not working. Wanna party and have fun smoke weed drink screw the whole damn crew? Great! Just don't breed. Leave that to people who want stability. It's cool to live how you want but bringing a kid into it is disgusting and selfish. That's why this 12 year old was getting it from 60 year old. Because her real father doesn't even know her. Her mom thought that's all right but guess what it wasn't all right. Hell yes I judge. Don't be a parent if you're not ready to sacrifice.

Now, wait a second, I think that automatically assuming that only one type of family group is right, and all others are broken is ignorant and backwards. Non biological parents and being unable to sacrifice for a child are definitely not mutually inclusive. You're somehow trying to assert that they are, but they're not. And, honestly, as someone with two step parents (who, by the way, have both done a good job), I'm a little insulted. But I'd rather not bring that into this debate.
I'm pro choice as hell, but that family values stuff is backwards BS. |

Again, what is wrong with adoptive or stepparents? Are you talking about the parents in question when you say people who party shouldn't have kids? Because there's nothing about the parent's being partiers or not in the news article. And plenty of parents are capable of having a good time while being responsible and nurturing. And there isn't anything about whether or not the child knows her father. I think you're trying to oversimplify the situation because you want to think you have answers to things that probably don't have answers.

A lot of people have kids. Very few people should have kids. I'll be the first to admit my parents never should have had me. I also think no father is better than a bad father. But they way it is now with all these men raising other men's children or just hanging around the house screwing their mothers is ridiculous. People want to defend it because that's how they were raised or that's what they're doing now but it's easy to see it's no good.
