Waking up after the pain killers they gave me to wire my jaw shut wore off. I know what it feels like to be kicked in the face by a horse.
Favorite relative?

GMOs: don't think it's a black and white issue. There's probably some good to be had but there's certainly a lot of bad.
Pho or Ramen?

Sorry, I'm not that up on ancient, Egyptian pharaohs.
Red or blue? (colors not politics)

Red is sexy. And the correct answer is pho.
Worst thing you've ever cooked?

When I was a youngster I made a honey chicken thing that I overcooked so badly it ended up like rock candy.

Hot weather, for sure. Last winter I was one of many lucky folks stuck in the "polar vortex," whatever that is, and dreaded every second of it. Power went out for 3 days, the city deemed it "illegal" to drive on the roads due to the amount of snow, while many employers insisted on workers coming in on threat of termination. I know heat waves are no joke either, but if I had my choice, I'd rather swelter than freeze to death.
