Ah I love Data, but the relationship between he and Geordi was so obviously bordering on gay it wasn't funny. Besides, in the later series Data become really annoying. His Sherlock Holmes, for instance, and his attempts to do Shakespeare, to say nothing of his relationship with his cat --- "Feline supplement number 3"? Gimme strength! And don't even go into his doomed attempt to have a "meaningful human relationship with a woman". Oh god! Whoever wrote that episode should have been shot. Out of a cannon. Into the sun. Oh, and Data really drove me mad in the movies, especially "Insurrection"....
