I had gotten accustomed to the ****ty free coffee I get at one job and for a brief moment forgot the delight of proper, real ****ing coffee that I can get at my new job. Every morning at my old job starts off with disappointment and a scratchy, sticky feeling in my throat from beans that taste like they were roasted in the dark ages. On the plus side coffee from the new job ends up tasting a lot better.

So...problem solved?

I'm not sure. It's a confusing time for me.

my worst first world coffee problems:

there are Starbucks stores on pretty much every corner near where I work and on the way down to that particular area ... and not a single Caribou Coffee or Peet's.

I have only used the coffeemaker we have in the kitchen about a handful of times since we got it a year ago because I'm fussed over how I can't find the right balance between coffee, milk, and whatever flavoring I prefer at the time. That's too much responsibility for one woman.

There are crappy coffee mixes you can get at covenience stores all over Ontario called "Seattle's Best Coffee". If that's Seattle's best, I'd sure hate to taste its worst.

Aren't like twelve? What the **** are you doing drinking coffee and having opinions as to its quality?
