I do remember that period being a low point for the series. It tried to take itself just a bit too seriously and stopped being fun. And the whole Christian apocalypse thing was just silly. Watching Xena fight Satan was pretty retarded as well.

Yeah, something like that. I think there was like an open portal that she kicked him into. And then later, the show revealed that he had impregnated Gabrielle, and I just thought "What?! When?! As soon as he popped up, Xena kicked him back to the hell! Man, the devil must work really quickly."
