Yeah but he isn't responsible IMO. He just took the paycheck. He was already attached to do the third one for contractually reasons. I blame it on the writers for writing that awful scene and others.

I think I liked Spiderman 3 better than Spiderman 2.

Why? They didn't do Venom justice and it was crowded with too many villains.

My first thought was that I do NOT agree with that statement, but it has been like 5 years since I saw the both of them so I may rewatch it just to see.

Also, I always thought it was weird Maguire was even cast as Spiderman at all.
Parker is supposed to be a college student and Maguire was like 32 when he played Spiderman.

The surname Maguire has it's origins in Ireland. McGuire is also another variation of the name.
