£2 to where exactly? Cause that doesn't seem so bad. I live between two cities. A fare to either is between £3 and 4 for a 7ish mile journey. A local journey is around £1.30 or something now.

I avoid it at all costs. Chicago, and even the Joliet area have some of the harshest Bus environments known to man. Save for places in the middle East:

I do take the train sometimes though. There's a stop right at a good little disc golf course.

Nowhere near 7 miles. Last time I got the bus it was from Birmingham City University to Brum City Centre so about 1 mile.

What's the max fare?

Maybe I'm just tight I remember when I used to pay 20p.

Haha oh yeah, the standard or max fares have gone up a fair bit over the years. In recent years they introduced a £1 fare anywhere within the boundaries of my town, but thats £1.40 or £1.50 now. I'm 29 now and when I was in my teens it was around 20 or 30p.

Here in the city we don't normally see sheep or cows...but I wouldn't necessarily give the same advice.

We won't see them either. We only see horses. I don't wanna **** horses. It reminds me about something I should not have watched

****ing busses is not my hobby though but I know a guy who put his ass into the tailpipe of a bus. And he got a scald so I won't recommend it for anyone.

I haven't taken a bus in a few years but I used to use my town's bus service before I learned how to drive. I don't miss them at all considering some certain types of people that were using them.
