Are you a neat freak or a pig? Tidy or untidy?
What sort of person are you, neat or messy? Do you like order and to be able to find things, or are you forever digging through piles of clothes to get that particular t-shirt/dress/pair of shoes you want, throwing CDs left right and centre and fishing out old mags from under your bed? And does this translate to your work life, if you work? Are you neat at home but messy in the office/shop/on the oil rig/at the circus etc? And do you want to change or are you happy as you are?
I'm a pig. Not necessarily intentionally so. I try to be tidy but keep just adding to piles, be they clothes, magazines, discs, whatever and then the pile is too big to tackle. At work I was always in trouble for having files all over my desk, and my constant comments that "A tidy desk is a sign of a sick mind" did not go down well! |
At work I can't not be super tidy and organized, if things are messy and not where they should be it makes things harder for everyone- not just me.
At home, I go through phases. Sometimes I'm really clean, sometimes I don't do my dishes for 3 days. |
Complete pig

Neither a pig nor neat freak. I leave stuff 'til it gets untidy. Then tidy it up.

Depends. If i'm at work, I have to be a neat freak since the furniture department does better when it looks nice, and i'm a bit OCD when it comes to things like that. However, if i'm at home and I see a piece of paper on the ground, I can probably walk past it like 100 times and still not pick it up.

Im a pig.. even the chinese zodiac said so lol
But that's in my personal life at work im more organised.. i have to be it's my job to organise the inventory |
Huge pig at home. Always have been, always will be. I was unbelievably disorganized in school as well, although I clean up my act when it comes to work.
|
Total neat freak everywhere I go. My Rides, My House, My Workplace. I look at it professionally and at home as being prideful in your appearance. It was an example passed down from my Dad. Military guy.

I'm basically this woman.

Neat freak I would say. I don't go over the top but I don't like being a scruff either.

My house is full of clutter that gets cleaned every so often. But under the bed is a nightmare, and the piano is covered in crap that is not mine. The piano is a junk magnet.

a thorough cleaning once or twice a week, dishes when necessary, etc. we're hardly ever home as it is, but it never gets filthy or anything. |

I am super tidy when working, I have to have everything look respectable. At home, I get a bit lazy. I get embarrassed when people see my room if I haven't cleaned it first. I do clean my room everyday when I get home from class. I leave it messy because I never have enough time/will.
|
I voted "Not sure" because I am both I guess. I don't know if being both boils down to being OCD or having ADD but I like being clean but I let things get out of control then I am too particular about tackling the problem and I don't around to fixing it. At work I like to be neat because it distracts me, but then cleaning up becomes a distraction in itself. At home I am a bit disorganize, but I like things clean tho, but I'm messy. I really don't know. I like that saying: "... clean enough to be healthy but messy enough to be happy."

God damn I live in a pigsty. I'm far too embarrassed to give certain specifics, but let's just say that I regularly have to step on my dirty clothes because they completely cover the floor. My CD's are organized though. I used to throw them wherever and have whole stacks of them out of their cases. Now I don't do that, cause I like having CD's that don't look like skating rinks.

Pig at home but workin on it
Clean at work cuz part of ny job is modelling healthy behavior so we do daily chores dishes vacuuming etc |
Neat Freak at work - cleaning, stacking, putting away orders, organizing, plus other things to keep it all trying to work smooth (and proud of it).
Home...different story - on off days, I carry my organizing like a madman over to my private life (helps with the research!!!) and try to keep the studio room clean as much as possible as I like to at least have some kind of "better than the next door commoner" attitude even if it turns up a slight fail in the end. On days after work...Pig as in going through a crapload of papers that will leave their little shreds all over the place, reading well-read books, slopping a bit with my food (hey, nobody is around, but it still does not hit the carpet unless if I'm eating tortilla chips while Internet surfing!), going through DVDs by the dozen, and reading even more papers that will have to wait for organization day to get organized and throwing my socks on the floor until that day as well. |
Big neat freak. Probably bordering on OCD.
|
Neat freak, home and work & school.

All kidding aside, niether. If someone showed up I might need to pick up for 5-10 minutes, but maybe not. I'm a lot more concerned that the bathroom is clean than if there's a pair of socks on the floor or a cup and a plate in the sink, although I don't let that stuff get out of hand.
It's also good to take out the trash before it gets too fragrant. |
