Communism is socialism that has allowed to develop into a classless society, while socialism is an intermediate stage between capitalism and communism. Karl Marx used the terms socialism and communism interchangeably. It makes no sense to talk of "more socialism" or a "mix between capitalism and socialism", you either go the whole way or you don't. For example, Norway has a somewhat functioning public safety net and free welfare services (welfare state), along with some state ownership and control over key industries (state capitalism), but that doesn't make Norway any less capitalist than the US.

America has San Diego, the beer capitol of the world. Germany can suck an overly sweet dick.

American cities are so much 'bigger' than ours. I don't mean in terms of area or population but the buildings and skylines. Pretty much any decent sized American city has these impressive high rise buildings and great skylines. I wish we had more of that in this country, not even London has this. There's a few in the City but they're not really impressive in the same way.
London: Spoiler for Picture:
Compare to the American big hitters and this is average at best. Our cities make up for it in other areas I think but I'd like more of the high rise buildings added to the skylines. Edinburgh is probably the best looking British city I think. |

Especially Toronto (aka the greatest city in the world).
Spoiler for So go downtown...:
Since it's July 4th, I will concede that Seattle's skyline is stunning.
